Saddle up and hit the trail with The Whiskey Club.  Since 2006, this Seattle-based five-piece has been creating their own unique take on traditional mountain music.  Song-smith Mark Pessl writes beautifully crafted originals about love, loss, and loneliness. In addition, the band plays a compelling mix of classic country covers by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Doc Watson, etc.

With poignant three part harmonies, the band features Mark on lead vocals and rhythm acoustic,  Eric “Sweed” Piippo on dobro, banjo, and backing vocals, Jason Goessl on chicken-pickin telecaster,  all anchored by the masterful rhythm section of Dave Bush on drums and Paul Beaudry on bass and backing vocals. The Whiskey Club creates a chugging honky-tonk sound that will have you tapping your toes and taking the ladies to the dance floor…
